Yes, this model includes 2 batteries and one charger.
In addition to the WX101L, WX500L, WX523L, and the WX028L tools, this kit includes two 20V Max Lithium batteries, a charger, dust extraction adaptor, parallel guide, allen key, reciprocating saw blade and a circular saw blade as well as a tool bag to hold all of it.
The tool bag measures 19.5" long x 8.5" wide x 9" deep.
Power doesn't mean heavy, and that's true for all the tools in the kit. The 20V Cordless Drill Driver will become your go-tool tool, especially because it only weighs 2 pounds before installing the battery.
Worx saws have muscle - without requiring your muscles. At only 3.2 lbs without the battery installed, the Worx Compact Circular Saw is surprisingly lightweight, but make no mistake, it delivers easy-to-maneuver circular saw power with single-hand control. The reciprocating saw weighs less than 5 pounds before installing the battery.
The Flexible Worklight only weighs 0.54 pounds without the battery, and that makes it the perfect companion to your toolbox without weighing it down.
In wood, the maximum recommended hole size is 1". Avoid drilling holes larger than 3/8" in metal.
Torque is a measurement of turning power. With 265 inch-pounds of torque, the WORX Cordless Drill Driver easily masters just about any drilling and driving application around the house.
The WORX 20V Cordless Drill Driver uses a 3/8" keyless chuck for quick bit changes, and features 15 clutch positions plus drilling mode.
The Cordless Drill Driver's switch, or trigger, controls the speed of rotation. With the variable speed trigger, the rotation speed increases as the trigger is depressed more. On the Cordless Reciprocating Saw, the pressure-sensitive trigger gives you comfortable control over the speed of the blade. For faster cutting, squeeze the trigger harder, and to slow down, release the trigger to find the right speed for the job at hand.
The WorxSaw gives you the power and performance you’d expect in a traditional circular saw, packs it into a compact size that’s easy to maneuver with one hand, then frees you from cords by powering it with a 20V MaxLithium battery. Designed with you in mind, the WorxSaw features the lightweight, ergonomic design is something you expect from Worx without compromising power! How? The saw's 3-3/8" blade has a kerf that is less than half the thickness of larger 7-1/4" circular saw blades. Since this smaller, thinner blade takes much less effort and motor strain to cut through the material, the 4 Amp - 3500 rpm saw can match the performance of full-size circular saws.
WorxSaw also features left-sided blade design provides remarkable cut-line visibility as well as a vacuum port for dust extraction while working to give you the best possible work experience for precision and safety.
Get everything you want from a traditional circular saw - with more flexibility and freedom. WorxSaw - power, performance, and comfort that’s easy to control with one hand.
Bevel cutting isn’t a feature available on the WorxSaw, but it is a great saw for plunge cutting! It can tackle stock up to 1” thick. To plunge cut, adjust the depth gauge along the top of the fixed upper guard to the appropriate setting. Place the base plate against the material and adjust the blade along the cutting line, but do not plunge the blade yet. Turn on the saw and, with the saw running, plunge the blade through the materials. Once you reach the full depth of the cut, move the saw along the cutting line. When you reach the end of the line, disengage the plunge feature before stopping the saw.
While plunge cutting is not a primary function of the reciprocating saw, in softer materials (like wood), you can plunge cut. Review the owner's manual for more information.
This convenient feature helps improve safety when lining up the blade along cutting lines, and helps make some plunge cuts easier. To use it, set the depth gauge along the top of the fixed upper guard to the appropriate setting. Release the lock-off button carefully, and use a finger to lift the lower guard lever to expose the blade. Line up the blade along the cutting line and carefully release the lower guard lever before engaging the saw and beginning your cut.
The WorxSaw can cut materials up to 1-1/16” thick making it perfect for ripping or plunge cutting 1” stock.
The Reciprocating Saw can cut wood up to 7”, PVC pipe up to 3", and up to 15/32" thick steel.
When it comes to cutting, the blade determines the material your saws can tackle, but you can customize to the job at hand by picking a blade to fit your needs. Both saws can handle a variety of materials including wood, aluminum, and PVC, depending on which blade you choose. Included in this kit, you’ll receive a carbide-tipped wood cutting blade for WORX Compact Circular Saw and a wood cutting reciprocating saw blade.
The WorxSaw can use any 3-3/8 in. blade with a 19/32 in. arbor, and the Reciprocating Saw uses standard reciprocating blades (T or U shank) and you can select the type and length of blade most appropriate for the job at hand.
Compatible blades can be purchased at most local hardware or home improvement stores. Additional blades for the Compact Circular saw blades like the 24TCT Wood cutting blades (WA8203) can be found under Accessories.
Yes, the Worx 20V Cordless Reciprocating Saw has three pendulum mode settings. For fine/detail cutting, set the pendulum action control dial to 0. The settings increase from I through III, which delivers the most aggressive cut, best used for pruning or demolition.
The parallel guide installs on your WorxSaw Compact Circular Saw in seconds and secures in place for confident parallel cuts. First, remove the battery from your WorxSaw to avoid accidental starts.
Loosen the hex screw at the front of the base plate. Take the long, thin side of the parallel guide and make sure the measured marks are facing up. Insert it into the base plate in front of the blade through the holes in the base. Line up the desired measurement in the notch at the front of the base plate and tighten the screw to secure it in place. Line up the parallel guide’s edge flush against the cutting surface, reinstall the battery and you’re ready to cut!
To remove the parallel guide, loosen the screw at the front of the base plate and slide the guide out.
Changing the blades is quick and easy on both saws. For safety, remove the battery from your saws before performing any maintenance or changing the blades to avoid accidental starts.
On the WORX Compact Circular Saw, press the red spindle lock button behind the blade housing and insert the allen key into the hex bolt holding the blade in place. Unscrew and remove the blade bolt, and the outer flange. Remove the old blade and insert the new one. Once firmly seated, install the flange and blade bolt, finger tightening into place. Use the allen key to secure the bolt, re-install the battery, and you’re ready to go.
The Worx 20V Cordless Reciprocating Saw features a tool-less blade change you can operate with just one finger. First, secure the saw against accidental starts by clicking the “lock off” to the off position, and remove the battery. Simply push and hold the blade clamp release lever at the cutting head to open the mechanism. Remove or insert a blade. Release the switch to activate the mechanism to keep your blade secure.
The WorxSaw has an onboard vacuum port and comes with a vacuum adaptor so you can attach your favorite shop vac. It’s as easy as installing the adaptor in the port, attach the shop vac and turn it on. (See your owner’s manual for specific instructions.)
Yes! With Power Share, you can share the battery and save money. Your 20V WorxSaw Compact Circular Saw and Cordless Drill Driver can use any Worx 20V battery you already have. By sharing the battery between tools, you’ll always have the power you need to complete any job.
Need more power on hand? Check out our higher capacity 20V batteries.
It takes approximately 5 hours to fully charge the battery.
Run time can vary on several factors, including the tool, the type of work, the conditions under which work is being performed, and may even vary from user to user. Typically, a fully charged 20V 1.5Ah battery included with the work light will last up to 15 hours on one charge. The batteries can be charged and discharged for about 2,000 cycles.
The 20V Worx MAX Lithium battery included with the WorxSaw Compact Circular Saw is the same battery we trust to power the JawSaw, and our ExacTrack Circular Saw, among others, like the Hydroshot and Switchdriver. Since the battery can stand up to those high-powered applications, you can trust it to keep up with you in the WorxSaw.
Our lithium tools and Ni-Cd tools are separate platforms and are not interchangeable. Lithium batteries offer our customers maintenance-free technology without the hassle of managing the memory effect inherent in Ni-Cad batteries.
While Power Share allows you to share batteries between tools within the same voltage family, batteries should only be used with tools of a corresponding voltage. Use your 20V MAX Lithium battery with any 20V WORX tool – even the garden tools – but save your 32V battery for your 32V tools.
The included battery will take you far, but if you need more, Worx offers higher capacity batteries, as well as faster chargers.
Worx tools are designed with safety features to protect you against accidental starts, and the WorxSaw is no different. In front of the on/off switch is a lock-off button which must be engaged before the on/off switch will work. To engage it, pull the red button back towards the on/off switch and hold it in place while you squeeze the on/off. Once the saw starts, you can release the lock-off button and the saw will continue to run.
