20V 930 in·lb brushless drill/driver
This 20V brushless drill/driver is built for tough drilling and large lag screw applications. It can handle hole drilling up to 4‘’ in wood (with a hole saw).
This 20V brushless drill/driver delivers up to 930 in·lb of torque, providing over 2× more torque than the WX108L.
This 20V brushless drill/driver is equipped with the latest PowerShare™ ProPlus battery (WA3676), offering up to 40% higher power and 2× longer lifespan. The WX109L is also compatible with all Worx 20V PowerShare™ Pro and PowerShare™ ProPlus batteries.
A brushless motor is controlled electronically rather than with brushes. The friction and arcing during commutation are significantly reduced, minimizing power loss and heat generation. Hence, the brushless motor is more efficient in power transfer and has a longer service life.
Built-in gyro sensors monitor the angular movement of the tool. Once the drill bit gets jammed in the material and the tool starts to kick back, the gyro sensor detects the movement and sends a signal to the controller. Then, the protection mechanism is activated to stop the tool immediately and prevent unexpected arm twisting for the user.
Both the drill/driver and the battery are backed by a 5-year warranty.
