Yes, this model includes 1 battery and 1 charger.
At only 4.1 lbs with the battery installed, the Worxsaw is surprisingly lightweight, but make no mistake, it delivers easy-to-maneuver circular saw power with single-hand control.
The WorxSaw gives you the power and performance you’d expect in a traditional circular saw, packs it into a compact size that’s easy to maneuver with one hand, then frees you from cords by powering it with a 20V MaxLithium battery. Designed with you in mind, the WorxSaw features the lightweight, ergonomic design is something you expect from Worx without compromising power! How? The saw's 3-3/8" blade has a kerf that is less than half the thickness of larger 7-1/4" circular saw blades. Since this smaller, thinner blade takes much less effort and motor strain to cut through the material, the 4 Amp - 3500 rpm saw can match the performance of full-size circular saws.
WorxSaw also features left-sided blade design provides remarkable cut-line visibility as well as a vacuum port for dust extraction while working to give you the best possible work experience for precision and safety.
Get everything you want from a traditional circular saw - with more flexibility and freedom. WorxSaw - power, performance, and comfort that’s easy to control with one hand.
Bevel cutting isn’t a feature available on the WorxSaw, but it is a great saw for plunge cutting! It can tackle stock up to 1” thick.
To plunge cut, adjust the depth gauge along the top of the fixed upper guard to the appropriate setting. Place the base plate against the material and adjust the blade along the cutting line, but do not plunge the blade yet. Turn on the saw and, with the saw running, plunge the blade through the materials. Once you reach the full depth of the cut, move the saw along the cutting line. When you reach the end of the line, disengage the plunge feature before stopping the saw.
Plunge saws have an enclosed blade with the depth of cut being controlled via the depth adjustment lever at the front of the machine. The blade spins and when the hand is pressed down, the blade plunges from within the guard into the material keeping your hand safe! This feature will allow you to start your cut anywhere on the material making it the best tool for cutting out for a vent, utility box, or sink!
This convenient feature helps improve safety when lining up the blade along cutting lines, and helps make some plunge cuts easier. To use it, set the depth gauge along the top of the fixed upper guard to the appropriate setting. Release the lock-off button carefully, and use a finger to lift the lower guard lever to expose the blade. Line up the blade along the cutting line and carefully release the lower guard lever before engaging the saw and beginning your cut.
The WorxSaw can cut materials up to 1-1/16” thick making it perfect for ripping or plunge cutting 1” stock.
When it comes to cutting, the blade determines the material your WorxSaw can tackle. Included, you’ll receive a carbide-tipped wood cutting blade, but you can customize to the job at hand by picking a blade to fit your needs. The WorxSaw can use any 3-3/8” blade with a 19/32” arbor.

The parallel guide installs on your WorxSaw in seconds and secures in place for confident parallel cuts. First, remove the battery from your WorxSaw to avoid accidental starts.
Loosen the hex screw at the front of the base plate. Take the long, thin side of the parallel guide and make sure the measured marks are facing up. Insert it into the base plate in front of the blade through the holes in the base. Line up the desired measurement in the notch at the front of the base plate and tighten the screw to secure it in place. Line up the parallel guide’s edge flush against the cutting surface, reinstall the battery and you’re ready to cut!
To remove the parallel guide, loosen the screw at the front of the base plate and slide the guide out.
Changing the blades is quick and easy. Remove the battery from the WorxSaw to avoid accidental starts.
Press the red spindle lock button behind the blade housing and insert the allen key into the hex bolt holding the blade in place. Unscrew and remove the blade bolt, and the outer flange. Remove the old blade and insert the new one. Once firmly seated, install the flange and blade bolt, finger tightening into place. Use the allen key to secure the bolt, re-install the battery, and you’re ready to go.
The WorxSaw has an onboard vacuum port and comes with a vacuum adaptor so you can attach your favorite shop vac. It’s as easy as installing the adaptor in the port, attach the shop vac and turn it on. (See your owner’s manual for specific instructions.)
The vacuum adapter measures 1-3/8" in diameter which fits most shop vacuums!
It takes approximately 5 hours to fully charge the battery.

The 20V Worx MAX Lithium battery included with the WorxSaw Compact Circular Saw is the same battery we trust to power the JawSaw, and our ExacTrack Circular Saw, among others, like the Hydroshot and Switchdriver. Since the battery can stand up to those high-powered applications, you can trust it to keep up with you in the WorxSaw.
Our lithium tools and Ni-Cd tools are separate platforms and are not interchangeable. Lithium batteries offer our customers maintenance-free technology without the hassle of managing the memory effect inherent in Ni-Cad batteries.
While Power Share allows you to share batteries between tools within the same voltage family, batteries should only be used with tools of a corresponding voltage. Use your 20V MAX Lithium battery with any 20V WORX tool – even the garden tools – but save your 32V battery for your 32V tools.
The included battery will take you far, but if you need more, Worx offers
.Worx tools are designed with safety features to protect you against accidental starts, and the WorxSaw is no different. In front of the on/off switch is a lock-off button which must be engaged before the on/off switch will work. To engage it, pull the red button back towards the on/off switch and hold it in place while you squeeze the on/off. Once the saw starts, you can release the lock-off button and the saw will continue to run.
