Does this come with a battery and charger?
This is our tool-only version, which does not include either a battery or charger. Tool-only models allow you to take full advantage of our 40V Power Share™ platform to save money by using the 20V WORX batteries and chargers you already own.
What kind of batteries can I use with this mower?
You can use any 20V WORX batteries and chargers you already own, but for the best performance, we recommend using WORX 20V 4.0Ah batteries. Using WORX 20V batteries with a lower amp hour rating will provide less run time compared to the 4.0Ah batteries.

What is Intellicut® technology?
Patented Intellicut® technology is an innovative way of utilizing battery power to best fit the needs of your lawn and maximize your run time. With two modes, Eco and Turbo, Intellicut® provides additional torque on demand and the ability to conserve battery when desired. For regularly maintenance, Eco is the way to go to preserve your battery life while still delivering the power you need. Got tougher grass? Waited a little too long to mow? Time to go Turbo for more power and knock out the tough stuff. Intellicut® delivers power to your mower on demand so you can save your battery for when you really need it.
Can I store the mower outside?
Storing the mower outside is not ideal and is not recommended. Your WORX 40V Power Share™ Cordless Lawn Mower folds into a small, compact shape to make storage in your garage or shed easy, even when there isn’t much room to work with. For more information about folding down the mower for storage, review your owner’s manual.
How do I sharpen the blade?
Many local hardware stores or small engine repair shops can provide you with great resources for sharpening blades if you’re inexperienced or prefer not to do it yourself. If you’ve got experience but need some pointers, consult your owner’s manual for instructions.
NOTE: For your safety, we do not recommend sharpening your mower blades unless you have experience doing so. With any task of this nature, please follow all safety guidelines and recommendations.
Prefer to keep an extra blade on hand? Order an extra so you're never waiting or caught unprepared.

Changing blades on the 40V Power Share™ Cordless Lawn Mower is easy! You’ll need gloves (for your protection) and a spanner wrench to remove the blade. For detailed instructions and illustrations, review the owner’s manual.
NOTE: Any time you perform maintenance on your mower, or work under the mowing deck, be sure to remove the safety key and batteries for your safety, and wear protective gloves. See your owner's manual for complete safety details.

Check out the entire 20V Power Share family.
Will a battery-operated mower be powerful enough to get the job done?
Our 20V WORX MAX Lithium batteries are the same batteries we trust to power the JawSaw, and our Cordless Compact Circular saw, among others, like the Hydroshot and Switchdriver. Since the batteries can stand up to those high-powered applications, you can trust it to keep up with you in your lawn mower.
Are lithium batteries interchangeable with the Ni-Cad?
Our lithium tools and Ni-Cd tools are separate platforms and are not interchangeable. Lithium batteries offer our customers maintenance-free technology without the hassle of managing the memory effect inherent in Ni-Cad batteries.
Are the 20V MAX lithium batteries interchangeable with the 32V MAX lithium battery?
While the WORX 40V Power Share™ platform allows you to share batteries between tools within the same voltage family, batteries should only be used with tools of a corresponding voltage. Use your 20V MAX Lithium battery with any 20V WORX tool – even the garden tools – but save your 32V battery for your 32V tools.
Does this mower come pre-assembled?
Since the Cordless Lawn Mower is designed for easy, compact storage when not in use, it’s shipped to you in a similar configuration to save you on shipping. There is some minor assembly required, but will take less than 5 minutes and will not require any tools.
Are there any precautions I should follow when using the WORX 40V Power Share™ Cordless Lawn Mower?
Carefully review the owner’s manual for all safety information and guidelines. Follow safety precautions while using any power tools – including wearing safety eyewear, gloves, appropriate shoes & clothing, and keeping hair tied back. See the owner’s manual for complete safety instructions and details.
ATTENTION: For safety, remove the batteries when changing the blades or cleaning the mower. When changing the blade, we recommend wearing gloves.
Can I mow wet grass?
While your 40V Power Share™ Cordless Lawn Mower is powerful enough to handle wet grass, we don’t recommend mowing wet grass. Wet grass can inhibit cutting performance, form clumps that interfere with the mulching action and/or reduce runtime. For best performance, wait until the grass dries before cutting.
