Yes, this model includes 2 high capacity batteries and 1 dual-port charger.

Even with both batteries installed, the Worx 40V Cordless Lawn Mower only weighs 38.6 lbs, less than half the weight of a traditional mower and easy to maneuver.

The deck width is 17” with a cutting diameter of 16” giving great balance between efficient cutting and a mower that fits your garage (and lifestyle).

Yes! You can adjust the cutting height of the 40V Cordless Lawn Mower to give you exactly the cut you want. Switch between six different cutting height positions between 1.5” and 3.5” with an easy-to-use single-lever adjustment.

The hard-topped grass collection bag holds up to 1.1 bushels and has a capacity indicator handle to making emptying the bag easy.

The 40V mower gives you options for your clippings. If you prefer to collect your clippings, you can use the collection bag. If not, you can use the rear discharge. Take it one step greener and use the mulching insert to feed mulched clippings back into your lawn. Choose what’s best for you and your lawn.

Runtime will vary from job to job, and sometimes between users, depending on how each person works and a variety of environmental factors. Using the two included 40V batteries, the Worx Cordless Lawn Mower is designed to cut up to 5,500 sq ft on a single charge. This mower includes patented Intellicut™ technology to help you get the most out of your batteries.

Patented IntelliCut™ technology is an innovative way of utilizing battery power to best fit the needs of your lawn and maximize your run time. With two modes, Eco and Turbo, IntelliCut™ provides additional torque on demand and the ability to conserve battery when desired. For regularly maintenance, Eco is the way to go to preserve your battery life while still delivering the power you need. Got tougher grass? Waited a little too long to mow? Time to go Turbo for more power and knock out the tough stuff. IntelliCut™ delivers power to your mower on demand so you can save your battery for when you really need it.

Storing the mower outside is not ideal and is not recommended. Your Worx 40V Cordless Lawn Mower folds into a small, compact shape to make storage in your garage or shed easy, even when there isn’t much room to work with. For more information about folding down the mower for storage, review your owner’s manual.

Many local hardware stores or small engine repair shops can provide you with great resources for sharpening blades if you’re inexperienced or prefer not to do it yourself. If you’ve got experience but need some pointers, consult your owner’s manual for instructions.

NOTE: For your safety, we do not recommend sharpening your mower blades unless you have experience doing so. With any task of this nature, please follow all safety guidelines and recommendations.

Changing blades (WA0028) on the 40V Cordless Lawn Mower is easy! You’ll need gloves (for your protection) and a spanner wrench to remove the blade. For detailed instructions and illustrations, review the owner’s manual.

NOTE: Any time you perform maintenance on your mower, or work under the mowing deck, be sure to remove the safety key and batteries for your safety and wear protective gloves.

Yes! With Share Volt, you can share the battery and save money. Your 40V Cordless Lawn Mower can use any Worx 40V Share Volt Max-Lithium battery you already have. By sharing the battery between tools, you’ll always have the power you need to complete any job.

Check out the entire 40V Share Volt family.

While Share Volt allows you to share batteries between tools within the same voltage family, batteries should only be used with tools of a corresponding voltage. Use your 40V MAX Lithium battery with any 40V WORX tool – even the garden tools – but save your 20V batteries for your 20V tools.

Battery powered DC motors are not rated for horsepower as output power is only measured with gas or induction AC (corded) motors. Worx lithium powered products were designed with sufficient power to get the job done quickly & easily.

Using the included dual port charger, it takes approximately 4 hours to fully charge both batteries. Charging only one battery takes about two hours.

Worx lithium batteries are surprisingly powerful for their compact size. Our 40V Max lithium batteries have double the power of our 20V (1.5Ah) batteries. If we trust our 20V batteries to power our professional cordless drills through concrete and large timbers, you can believe the 40V battery included with the hedge trimmer will easily give your bushes, shrubs and other greenery the professionally manicured look you want.

Our lithium tools and Ni-Cd tools are separate platforms and are not interchangeable. Lithium batteries offer our customers maintenance-free technology without the hassle of managing the memory effect inherent in Ni-Cad batteries.

Since the 40V Cordless Lawn Mower is designed for easy, compact storage when not in use, it’s shipped to you in a similar configuration to save you on shipping. There is some minor assembly required but it will take less than 5 minutes and will not require any tools.

Carefully review the owner’s manual for all safety information and guidelines. Follow safety precautions while using any power tools – including wearing safety eyewear, gloves, appropriate shoes & clothing, and keeping hair tied back. See the owner’s manual for complete safety instructions and details.

ATTENTION: For safety, remove the batteries when changing the blades or cleaning the mower. When changing the blade, we recommend wearing gloves.

If you decide the Worx 40V Cordless Lawn Mower isn’t the right tool for you, we offer a 30-day Money Back Guarantee from the date of receipt (less shipping and handling). View more information here.
