Does this impact wrench have a quick release chuck?
No, the cordless impact wrench does not have a quick-release chuck. It has a hog ring anvil that retains the socket with a steel ring in a groove on the square drive.
Can I use this as a drill?
It is not recommended that you use this as a standard drill due to the torque that the impact wrench has. In a pinch you can use an adapter to use it as an impact driver.
Does this impact wrench have a friction ring or pin detent?
It is a friction/hog ring which makes it easier to change out sockets between use.
