Yes, this model includes one 20V 2.0 Ah battery (WA3575) and one charger (WA3742).

The Worx 20V 10" Cordless Pole /Chain Saw weighs 10 pounds.

We have two versions of the Pole/Chain Saw, so they are both correct. The WG323 model is a battery-operated tool and uses our 20V MaxLithium technology. Powershare lets you use any 20V Worx battery you may already have with this model. Our electric Pole/Chain Saw is model number WG309 and can be found here.

The 20V Worx MAX Lithium battery included with the 10” Cordless Pole/Chain Saw is the same battery we trust to power the JawSaw, and our Cordless Compact Circular saw, among others, like the Hydroshot and Switchdriver. Since the battery can stand up to those high-powered applications, you can trust it to keep up with you. Higher capacity 20V batteries and faster chargers are available as well.

The runtime will vary depending on the type and density of wood you’re cutting and how thick the branches are for each cut and the capacity of the 20V battery you’re using. For example, on one charge of our 1.3Ah 20V battery, you can expect up to 23 cuts on 4” thick hardwood. Since most branches you’ll cut are less than that, you’ll typically get a higher yield. If you know you need extra power, try keeping an extra battery on hand. Worx also offers higher capacity 20V batteries as well as quick chargersAccessories can be found here.

The chain spins at 12.5ft/second (3.8 m/s).

The enclosed charger and battery take about 5 hours to fully recharge.

The Chain Saw does come assembled, but not attached to the pole. Attaching the pole is quick, easy and requires no tools!

The pole attaches to the chainsaw without tools. You’ll be able to connect it in less than 3 minutes. First, screw the pole together securely. To save you on shipping, and to make future storage more convenient, the pole unscrews into two tethered pieces. Once the pole is assembled, the saw slides onto the pole like a Worx battery slides on to a tool. Use the locking knob on the pole under the saw to secure the connection. To remove the saw, unscrew the locking knob and pull straight down. Pull the saw and pole apart.

The 20V Cordless Pole/Chain Saw can take any kind of bar and chain oil, which is available in most hardware stores or stores that sell chainsaws. The oil tank capacity will hold 4.5 ounces.

With a saw designed to self-lubricate during operation, a little oil leakage is normal. To help minimize and prevent leakage, we recommend the following:

-Use only enough oil for the task at hand.

-Remove oil cap and immediately replace it after operation to vent the oil tank. This relieves any accumulated pressure during the oiling process.

-Allow the saw to cool down before storing.

-Wipe down the saw sprocket area.

-Remove oil from saw before storage.

-Store the saw horizontally when not in use.

There are 40 links on the chain saw chain. The chain is a 3/8 inch pitch.

Both the bar and chain are available under Accessories.

Need something faster? Local hardware or home improvement stores may carry accessories that fit your Worx chainsaw. Look for the following items compatible with your WG323 Cordless Pole/Chain Saw.

 Chain:

ES: 3/8.043-40E, QIRUI: A0(T)-40E, Oregon: 90PX040G

Yes, the chainsaw can be used with or without the pole, depending on what the job at hand requires.

The full length of the Cordless Pole/Chain saw is 97.5”.

Working directly overhead is never a safe option when trimming limbs from trees, so the calculation isn’t based on direct reach. Since the safest way to approach tree trimming would be standing away from the branch being cut and reaching up at an angle, the total reach factors in the average height of the person using the tool as at least 4’. When standing at the base of the tree and reaching with the 20V Cordless Pole/Chain Saw at an angle, the average user can cut branches at a height of 10 or more feet.

It takes approximately 5 hours to fully charge the battery.

Yes! With Powershare, you can share the battery and save money. Your Worx 20V 10" Cordless Pole /Chain Saw can use any WORX 20V battery you already have. By sharing the battery between tools, you’ll always have the power you need to complete any job.

Our lithium tools and Ni-Cd tools are separate platforms and are not interchangeable. Lithium batteries offer our customers maintenance-free technology without the hassle of managing the memory effect inherent in Ni-Cad batteries.

While Powershare allows you to share batteries between tools within the same voltage family, batteries should only be used with tools of a corresponding voltage. Use your 20V Max Lithium battery with any 20V WORX tool – even the garden tools – but save your 32V battery for your 32V tools.

Carefully review the owner’s manual for all safety information and guidelines. Follow safety precautions while using any power tools – including wearing safety eyewear, gloves, appropriate shoes & clothing, and keeping hair tied back. See the owner’s manual for complete safety instructions and details.

If you decide the Worx 20V 10" Cordless Chainsaw isn’t the right tool for you, we offer a 30-day Money Back Guarantee from date of receipt (less shipping and handling). View more information here.

We know your tools are indispensable, so we cover each tool with a 2 Year Limited Consumer Warranty. You can extend your warranty to 3 years by registering online within 30 days of purchase. Already have your chainsaw? Register now!

Worx batteries are covered by a 1 Year Limited Consumer Warranty and are not eligible for warranty extension.
