Can you convert this grinder into a buffer?

No, this tool is best used with angle grinding discs only.

Can I use a grinding wheel larger than 4.5 in.?

We suggest only using 4.5 in. angle grinding wheels so that they fit within the safety guard boundaries.

Can I use a grinding wheel smaller than 4.5 in.?

No, the arbor size (the diameter of the opening used to connect the wheel to the tool) will not match and will be smaller than what is required to safely use the tool.

Can this be used as a sander?

The tool comes with a metal grinding wheel. There are accessory wheel options that can be used to remove rust and other surface coverings from metal.

Can I cut wood with an angle grinder?

We do not suggest cutting wood with this tool.
