Starlock® blades can be fitted onto the Worx WX697L Cordless Oscillating Multi-tool.
The WX697L cordless oscillating multi-tool comes with 2 Bimetal end cut blades, 2 Precision wood cutting end cut blades, a 2.0Ah battery with charge level indicator, a 1-hour charger, and a carry bag.
To perform work, oscillating accessories move from side to side very quickly. The distance from the center that the accessory travels is the oscillating angle.
The wider oscillation angle cuts faster, but also leaves a rougher cut. The wider angle is more for fast wood cutting. The smaller oscillation angle is easier to control and works best for cutting metal or making precise cuts.
In general, faster speeds work for cutting wood. Use slower speeds for cutting plastic or other materials that might melt. Medium to high speeds work best in metals. Ideally, make a test cut on scrap material to see which speed performs best in the given workpiece.
