There are many benefits to investing in a cordless lawn mower. Compared to corded models, it offers hassle-free portability. Compared to gas counterparts, battery-powered models can deliver similar performance without the mess, fumes, tedious maintenance, and noise of fuel power.
Important features include power source voltage, deck size, battery amp hour, propulsion, and mulching capability. All of these features need to be considered along with the size and type of terrain being cut.

The main body (or frame) of the lawn mower that houses the cutting blade is referred to as the "deck." Decks can be various sizes, shapes, and materials. The combination of these specifications contribute to the overall cutting performance of the lawn mower.
Lawn mowers are typically classified by the overall size of the deck, while the cutting blade within the deck is slightly smaller, resulting in a slightly smaller cutting width.
Most other mowers only draw in air through the underside of the deck to circulate grass clippings, which can lead to clogging and efficiency issues when cutting dense, thick turf. Our Aerodeck technology solves this challenge by adding a vent to the front of the high-strength polymer deck. It draws in more air to keep grass clippings moving, resulting in improved cut quality, less clumping and clogging, and better bagging efficiency.
IntelliCut™ is a smart feature that automatically adjusts the cutting speed to fit the grass conditions. When the mower's internal sensors detect thicker grass, the cutting speed increases to improve performance and make tough mowing jobs more efficient. When the grass is less dense, IntelliCut™ reduces the speed to help conserve battery power and boost runtime.
No. 40V products that are part of the Worx PowerShare platform require (2) 20V PowerShare batteries to operate. Both batteries work together to produce 40V of power, so it's critical to use (2) fully-charged 20V batteries that have the same amp hour rating to get the maximum potential of runtime.
Simply allow the mower to move forward for 1-2 inches to unlock the wheels, and then you can move backwards again.
