Rated 5 out of 5 by GPA441 from OUTSTANDING CHAINSAW! I purchased the WORX 16" saw to replace my 16" gas powered saw and I am duly satisfied and impressed with the power and features of my new WORX chainsaw. I recently used my new WORX saw to take down, limb, & buck a 13" X 40' pine tree and the saw worked GREAT! I used a 12-3 cord and had not power problems. I would for certain recommend this chainsaw to anyone. I don't believe the WORX price can be beat for a comparable electric chainsaw!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joel from DBQ from Most Enjoyable Chainsaw I've Used A neighbor's BIG mulberry dropped a branch in our yard, we had someone cut the entire tree down, and then I cut it up with this saw yesterday. It worked great! Two things that are worth mentioning, that helped I believe. A thick extension cord. I used a 10 gauge that I rented, very thick, but it insured the power made it the distance to the saw, without harming it. Winter grade chain oil, I used Husqvarna winter, a fair amount. A thinner lube works best. A great customer service guy at Worx was very helpful covering these two points. It is true that a 100 ft. THICK cord may cost as much as this saw, but is well worth it if you are that far from an outlet, don't have a generator right there... The Worx 16 inch electric is a great product, an expert tree guy stopped by, and was also duly impressed as I used it. I could tell he wanted to try it, but since it was my new baby, I wouldn't let him. Maybe next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DoJo Mick from One Word - Convenience I grew tired of bringing my gas powered saw in for carburetor maintenance every year. I was good at emptying the gas tank after every use and using gas conditioner but still to no avail. I am a casual user - just a homeowner with a fireplace so when my lawn shop mechanic tole me to look at an Electric saw - I was a little skeptical. As soon as i took it out the package, I plugged it in an started cutting ripped through a 9" branch in seconds. Love the convenience of not messing around with the gas to cut my firewood. I would definitely recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sawzall from A real chainsaw, well designed and well made. I'm a professional forester and literally live in the woods. I gave away my gas chainsaw shortly after moving here because I really didn't need it and had seen way too many careless loggers and week-end warriors injured through accidents and careless use. Over the last 33 years trees have overtopped and begun to grow branches into the side of the house and over the roof. Several trees need to be removed to prevent damage to the house. I don't do well with internal combustion engines; so I researched electric chainsaws for occasional use around the house, found this one to be highly rated and relatively low cost, and I liked the specs and features. I ordered the saw about a month ago, received it in about a week and a half, and have been removing and cutting up one tree every couple of days as I can fit the work into my schedule. I bought a 100 foot 12 gauge extension cord and have so far felled and cut to 18" firewood length several 14"DBH maples and 10-12" beech without a hitch. The saw is light, staving off fatigue, disassembly and maintenance are very easy, and auto chain tension and oiling are all that could be asked for. Thanks for putting all these features together in a single package. I bought a spare chain and bar at the same time, but have not had reason to use them yet. Cannot be beat for the price. Very pleased with it so far. If it holds up over time I will be very happy.
