Worx GT has a history of changing the game when it comes to feeding trimming line, and the Revolution is no exception. Bumping to advance the line became a thing of the past with auto-feeding line on the first GT, and now, COMMAND FEED® puts the control at your fingertips.
Your trimmer is equipped with COMMAND FEED®. To efficiently feed the line, just press the COMMAND FEED® button as needed while the machine is running until you hear the ‘clattering’ noise of the line cutting. The line will automatically feed to the perfect length for trimming. The motor will shut off when pressing the COMMAND FEED® button and will restart when the button is released.
Absolutely! The Worx Revolution is designed to be fully adjustable from the telescoping shaft, 7-position auxiliary handle, and 6-position pivoting trimmer head. When it comes to height, we’ve got you covered. At its shortest, the GT Revolution is 35-3/4” long, but when fully extended, it’s a full 55-1/2” long. That’s a full foot longer than previous Worx GT models to better accommodate even our tallest users comfortably. Don’t contort yourself to fit your trimmer, let the Worx Revolution adapt to you.
The trimmer only weighs 4.7 lbs (2.13 kg). The GT Revolution’s ergonomic design ensures the weight is evenly distributed between the main and auxiliary handle to make trimming a comfortable, easy-to-manage experience for anyone.
Absolutely! The GT Revolution is part of our Worx Power Share line, one of the over 30 Worx 20V Max tools that share the same 20V Max Worx batteries. Power Share lets you share batteries to save money - add versatility to your toolbox for less by adding tools without unnecessary batteries or chargers.
Battery powered DC motors are not rated for horsepower as output power is only measured with gas or induction AC (corded) motors. Worx lithium powered products were designed with sufficient power to get the job done quickly & easily.
You can adjust the angle of the auxiliary handle as easily as pushing a button. Where the handle meets the shaft of the GT Revolution, there’s an orange button. Push the button and move the handle to the desired position. Release the button to lock it in place.
First find the pivot head locking knob, located where the shaft meets the trimmer cutting head and turn it in the “unlock” position. Place the trimmer head on the floor and put your foot on the cutting head. Lift or lower the handle to your preferred angle while stabilizing the head on the ground. The Revolution will click through the positions. Once you’ve found the perfect angle for you, turn the pivot head locking knot back to the “lock” position, and you’re ready to get back at it!
Converting your trimmer from Trimmer to Edger, or to a Mini-Mower is quick and easy, just like our GT 2.0.
To turn the cutting head for edging mode, grasp the black part of the shaft just above the cutting head with one hand and the orange locking collar with the other hand. Pull the tool apart, and you’ll feel the parts of the Revolution slide about an inch along the shaft. Twist the hand on the shaft over the cutting head 90 degrees and release. To convert it back to trimming, repeat the steps, but twist 90 degrees in the opposite direction.
To use your Revolution in mini mower mode, use the same cutting head angle you would for trimming. Install the wheels under the safety guard in the position that works best for the area you’re trimming. Adjust the cutting head angle to give you the best ergonomic position and you’re ready to cut!

If you decide to use a traditional line, the Worx Revolution can accept standard 0.065” (0.165 cm) cutting line found at any garden or home center and can be wound around our empty spool cartridges. Refer to your owner’s manual for important details about how to wind the line on the spools and keep in mind that with a conventional cutting line, COMMAND FEED®may not work as expected.
The safety guard is an essential part of the tool. Not only does it keep you safe from any debris from the trimming/edging, it also helps regulate the length of the cutting line. Without the safety guard, your Worx GT Revolution will not operate properly and you are at risk for injury.
WORX has an entire line of Turbine products, some of which are battery operated and some of which are electric to offer the solution that best meets your needs.
CFM stands for “cubic feet per minute” and is the measurement of air flow that is used to describe the volume of air that the blower is capable of moving. The higher the CFM, the more air the blower is capable of pushing through the tube.
This blower does not include a vacuum or mulching feature. However, we do offer a large lineup of 3-in-1 Blower, Mulcher, Vacuums for your yard work demands.
Our lithium tools and Ni-Cd tools are separate platforms and are not interchangeable. Lithium batteries offer our customers maintenance-free technology without the hassle of managing the memory effect inherent in Ni-Cad batteries.
