The JawSaw can be used with or without the extension pole. The extension pole is designed to help reach branches up to 12 ft. (3.65 m) high and can be quickly and easily attached or detached depending on how you need to use the JawSaw.
The extension pole should be the same type as your JawSaw. The WA0163 is the extension pole for the electric JawSaw (model WG307).
The extension pole for the Cordless/Battery-operated JawSaw (model WG320/WG320.9) is model number WA0169 and can be found here.
The total weight of the JawSaw and extension pole is 11.7 lbs. (5.30 kg)
Jawsaw is 33 in. (83.82 cm), or 2 ft. 9 in. and the Pole is 61.5 in. (154.94 cm) (or 5 ft. 1.5 in.) in length. When used together, the total length is around 7 ft. 9 in. (236.22 cm)

The extension pole comes pre-assembled making the box an oversized box in length and therefore cost extra to ship.
