Simply push and hold the lever at the cutting head to open the mechanism. Remove or insert a blade. Release the switch to activate the mechanism and secure your blade.

Yes, the 20V Cordless Jigsaw has a pendulum mode and has a stroke length of 15/16”, which will easily handle 2X material.

The pendulum function on the Cordless Jigsaw is used to customize the cutting style to fit the type of task at hand. With three settings, the Cordless Jigsaw can handle fine detail and scroll work up to tougher tasks when aggressive, efficient cutting power is more important than precision.

NOTE: For the best cut, especially with fine or scroll cuts, use the lowest pendulum setting. We also recommend starting at a lower speed and increasing as needed for the task at hand. Since the cut is made on the upstroke, cut with visible surfaces facing down. When making curved cuts, select a narrower blades appropriate for the material you're cutting.

Yes! You can plunge cut with this tool and make bevel cuts up to 45 degrees. For your convenience, illustrations on how to complete a plunge cut are available in your owner's manual.

To change the bevel setting on your Cordless Jigsaw, first, remove the battery. Turn the saw over and, using the included allen key, loosen the base stabilization screw. Push the base forward to disengage the teeth holding it in place. Angle and adjust base using the bevel scale on the base to the required angle. Slide the base back to re-seat the teeth. Tighten the base stabilization screw. Reattach the battery, and you're ready to go!

This is one of the safety features included on the WORX Cordless Jigsaw, like the safety switch that can be activated with either hand. The U-shaped piece of metal is a finger guard that helps protect you against accidental slippage resulting in cuts.

Yes! This tool comes with an adapter so you can attach a vacuum to the Jigsaw.

WORX offers a variety of Amp hour ratings in the 20V battery line to give our customers a wide variety of power options without changing battery platforms or tools. A battery’s amp hour rating measures how much energy can be stored in the battery (energy capacity). The 20V Cordless Jigsaw is compatible with all Amp hour rating varieties available in our 20V Lithium battery line, including the 1.5 Ah, 2.0 Ah (WA3575), 4.0 Ah (WA3578) or 6.0 Ah (WA3671) models.

It takes approximately 5 hours to fully charge the battery.

Run time can vary on several factors, including the tool, the type of work, the conditions under which work is being performed, and may even vary from user to user. Typically, a fully charged 20V 1.5Ah battery included with the work light will last up to 15 hours on one charge. The batteries can be charged and discharged for about 2,000 cycles.

Our lithium tools and Ni-Cd tools are separate platforms and are not interchangeable. Lithium batteries offer our customers maintenance-free technology without the hassle of managing the memory effect inherent in Ni-Cad batteries.

While Power Share allows you to share batteries between tools within the same voltage family, batteries should only be used with tools of a corresponding voltage. Use your 20V MAX Lithium battery with any 20V WORX tool – even the garden tools – but save your 32V battery for your 32V tools.

The included battery will take you far, but if you need more, WORX offers higher capacity batteries, as well as faster chargers.
